Lot One:

Genjiro (FB5200)

Genjiro (FB5200)

Sired by Genjiro (FB5200) who is sired by Haruki 2 (IMP JAP) and out of Okutani (IMP JAP).

Genjiro has proven to be superior in both meat traits and growth. His sire, “Haruki 2 (IMP JAP)” was born on April 24, 1992 in Yamanashi Prefecture and has always remained in the shadows of his paternal brother “Michifuku (IMP JAP)” over the years. Since Breedplan was established in Australia, “Haruki 2 (IMP JAP)” has become a breed leading sire for gestation length, 200 day weights, 400 day weights, 600 day weights with a superb IMF (intramuscular fat) score of +0.8. Genjiro himself scores very well in the Australian Breedplan for self-replacing index.

His dam, “Okutani (IMP JAP)”, is one of the “original three” WKS girls who died shortly after her arrival to the USA – after just two flushes. Okutani (IMP JAP) was considered to have the most potential of the three due to her tremendous sire stack of “Okushige (IMP JAP)” x “Kikutani (IMP JAP)” x “Dai 7 Itozakura (IMP JAP)”. “Okushige (IMP JAP)” was Number 1 for BMS in Japan in 1990 (one of three full siblings to hold this honor) – “Kikutani (IMP JAP)” and “Dai 7 Itozakura (IMP JAP)” are still considered two of the top 10 sires ever in Japan!! Genjiro is a full brother to Bejiro and Fujiko.

In the 2020 Elite Wagyu Sale records were smashed with 10 Straws of Genjiro were sold for $1,500/ Straw. Semen is very limited on this bull and we are very excited to offer these embryos publicly.

KUNTZIDE DARELENE (FB24617)

KUNTZIDE DARELENE (FB24617)

The donor for these embryos is none other than our Takamichi Doi daughter. Takamichi Doi who is a son of the well know TAKAZAKURA and out of the #1 genomic marbling cow in the breed MISAKO. Takamichi Doi is a proven carcass sire and comes from one of the oldest Wagyu programs in North America ‘Wagyu Sekai’. Kuntzide Darelene is also an extremely correct cow with a deep heart girth and long loin. Her mother was imported as an embryo from Australia and boasts [ TF 151 ] ITOZURU DOI one of the most sought after carcass bulls around the world. We purchased this cow from Lloyd Kuntz in Ontario who is also one of the original breeders of Wagyu in Canada. This young cow will be a powerhouse for carcass production.

This lot is sired by Kenhanafuji (FB2461), this sire is the rarest original foundation bull, often called the “International Bull of Mystery.”, there are no photos of him. He breeds fertile calves that are good milkers with agreeable temperaments. Semen is very limited on this bull.

Kenhanafuji has no Tajima blood and is 75% Fujiyoshi / 25% Kedaka.

She is sired by a son of World K’s Shigeshgetani who has recently been topping the Australian production charts and he is out of a Kenhanafuji Daughter out herself is out of Heatherkura (Own daughter of World K’s Suzutani and arguably the best Wagyu female in the breed).
