Bar R28R (Retired)
A own daughter of JVP FUKUTSURU-068 the former long time #1 Marbling sire in North America. Her dam’s pedigree is also stacked with high marbling sires with another cross to JVP FUKUTSURU-068 and MICHIFUKU. We took a risk and acquired this cow from a European flush program and she hasn’t disappointed us yet. She has produced three beautiful heifers and an outstanding bull prospect and shes still going strong. Daughters of JVP FUKUTSURU-068 are well known not to have much milk (this is a common trait in high marbling bloodlines like Tajima). However 28R has an abundance of milk and fertility and seems to have passed on these valuable maternal traits to her daughters.
Bar R41X
This larger framed cow has plenty of depth and width and she is a grand daughter of TF 148 ITOSHIGENAMI, WORLD K'S YASUFUKU JR, TF ITOMICHI 1/2 and WORLD K'S SANJIROU. This pedigree is stacked with marbling power. TF 148 is considered to be one of the best sires for carcass and marbling production and his calves average 8.6 out of 9 on the Australian grading system. Sanjiro is the #1 Marbling Sire in North America. This cow comes from Jerry Reeves ‘Bar R’ program. The Bar R focuses on quality Wagyu genetics with proven carcass results. This cow is no exception, her sire Bar R Itoshigenami 48U is ranked the #7 Marbling sire in North America. This cow has thrown some very nice calves for us and we look forward to her continued genetic contribution to our growing herd.
GVW MICHIFUKU 201-15
‘The nicest Wagyu cow I have ever seen..’ is a phrase I have heard more than once when people see this cow. #1078 is everything a great mother cow should be. Deep in her heart girth, long through her loin, feminine, balanced and smooth top line with a correct pelvic angle. Add to this a pedigree beautifully balanced with marbling, maternal and frame traits you get the ultimate cow. Her sire MFC SHIGESHIGETANI 2-12 comes from Michael Goodall’s Muddy Flats program where animals were evaluated on their carcass production. An own son of SHIGESHIGETANI, who carries very powerful genetics; his pedigree has Yasumi Doi, YasuTanidoi bloodlines as well as the Kumanami strain, known for high marbling. #1078’s mother is a direct daughter of WORLD K'S KITAGUNI JR who has been a cornerstone sire for the Lone Mountain Ranch with excellent marbling and carcass results. #1078 also carries WORLD K'S TAKAZAKURA known for adding size and frame. We have several lovely daughters on the ground from this cow and she seems to be throwing her ‘type’ even when bred to different sires.
KUNTZIDE DARELENE
Own daughter of Takamichi Doi who is a son of the well know TAKAZAKURA and out of the #1 genomic marbling cow in the breed MISAKO. Takamichi Doi is a proven carcass sire and comes from one of the oldest Wagyu programs in North America ‘Wagyu World’. Kuntzide Darelene is also an extremely correct cow with a deep heart girth and long loin. Her mother was imported as an embryo from Australia and boasts [ TF 151 ] ITOZURU DOI one of the most sought after carcass bulls around the world. We purchased this cow from Lloyd Kuntz in Ontario who is also one of the original breeders of Wagyu in Canada. This young cow will be a powerhouse for carcass production. We have a limited number of Grade 1 frozen embryos available from her.

WBC KIKUYASU E21 ET
We are very excited to have an own daughter of JVP KIKUYASU-400 in the herd. The largest 100% pure tajima ever exported from Japan at 1938 pounds and consistently ranks first in ribeye size. He is a perennial ribeye producing powerhouse. 400 Daughters have impacted top seedstock programs around the World. JVP Kikuyasu 400 is free of all known genetic disorders and carries the AA copy of the SCD fat gene. His semen is extremely rare. He is one of the original imported Wagyu from Japan. Her dam is an own daughter of UKB DIA 6 KITASEKI a bull from a family that adds frame and milk to their daughters. This young cow will add size and substance when bred to high marbling smaller framed sires.
There aren’t enough good things we can say about this cow. She consistently out performs our expectations. The picture to the right is of her son’s carcass. Easily a BMS 9 score on the Japanese scale. She delivers top quality calves and embryos every year. Flushes well and always breeds back even when flushed late.
We have some very rare embryos from her on our reserve list. Please check them out here.

ANH NAKAGISHIRO 86G ET
This embryo transfer female is sired by Bar R Nakagishiro 56T and out of GVW Michifuku 201-15. The sire 56T is well known for extreme phenotypic style, size and structural correctness. Nakagishiro 56T shows the growth of his dam, Nakagishi 5, who was included in World K’s last importation. Nakagishi 5, who is a balanced blend of Itozakura and Kedaka lines, has only four recorded offspring, and 56T is the only bull from this cow. He is sired by the very popular SANJIRO, who himself is sired by the famous MICHIFUKU out of the famous SUZUTANI cow, and is a well known and highly proven 100% Tajima sire with outstanding carcass traits. Nakagishiro 56T has gained attention due to the fact that 50% of his DNA (from his dam) is from a dam that was not heavily utilized outside Japan and this therefore gives him “out-cross” value. The dam is our ‘Nicest Wagyu cow I’ve ever seen’ Gvw Michifuku 201-15 who combines powerful marbling and frame sires such as; SHIGESHIGETANI, WORLD K'S KITAGUNI JR. and WORLD K'S MICHIFUKU. Unfortunately Michiyoshi died very early in his career as a sire and semen is nearly nonexistent on this phenomenal sire. We are very excited to have a direct daughter of Michoyoshi in the program. 78G’s dam is a daughter of Bar R Jiro 22T a son of the former #1 Marbling Bull JVP FUKUTSURU 068 and out of arguably one of the best Bar R cattle companies cows Bar R Miss 2N. This bull should add milk to his daughters and thickness to his sons. 42Z ranks in the top 25% of marbling bulls in north america according to the 2017 National Wagyu Sire Summary. Not to be outshined WSU Miss 20E AI is out of an own daughter of WESTHOLME HIRASHIGETAYASU Z278 (breed trait leader for growth and milk in Australia). Bar R Jiro 22T was a Semex Canada bull for much of his breeding career and his F1 progeny were well documented to have excellent carcasses. Jiro 22T is out of Bar R Miss 2N who is probably the best-known producing cow out of the Bar R herd. She is the dam of both Bar R Saburo 53Y and Bar R Itomoritaka 42Z. Offspring from both of these bulls are showing excellent marbling and carcass traits. Bar R Saburo 53Y is the leading living sire on the Washington State Wagyu Sire Summary and also has excellent RFI (feed efficiency data). The bottom of this young cow’s pedigree is equally impressive as her mother is an own daughter of World K’s Shigeshigetani and her grandmother is an own daughter of World K’s Takazakura. Shigeshigetani has over 3800 F1 (half wagyu) carcasses grading a 9+ on the Australian scale for IMF. Shigeshigetani also has growth and length making him an ideal bull to add to any program. Takazakura is well known for frame and maternal characteristics. Shigeshigetani over a Takazakua daughter is an ideal cross for marbling and frame.
